Handsœwn Fibre Arts is where I rescue cloth and imagine new stories for it. The fashion industry is responsible for nearly 10 percent of global carbon emissions and consumes vast resources—a single cotton T‑shirt can require about 2,700 liters of water. By transforming thrifted and donated garments made of wool, cashmere, linen, silk and cotton into bespoke pieces, I keep these beautiful fibers out of landfills, conserve resources and avoid the pollution inherent in textile dyeing. Upcycling is a creative act: it gives me—and my clients—a unique means of self‑expression.
Every rescued fibre creation begins with listening: to the garment’s history, to the person who wore it, to the new owner who dreams of something different. Then I cut, stitch and embellish, infusing each piece with Sacred intention. Browse my gallery to see before‑and‑after transformations, commission a custom creation or simply be inspired to mend your own textiles. Each piece is a reminder that nothing and no one is beyond renewal.
